Megha Vyas, a widow, fights for justice for her late husband Amar Vyas who died in a flyover collapse. Mohan Bhatnagar, a Hindi news company employee, befriends Megha's daughter, Navika, and they become friends. Mohan exposes Dinanath, the real culprit, and develops respect for Megha, her children, and her in-laws. They get married, and Megha recovers. 12 years later, Navika works as a news reporter, and the story regresses to 2001, narrating the mystery of Megha's son, Aditya, who gets lost in the Indore railway station. Mohan's grandson Beera Singh Tilkadhari helps reunite Megha and Megha. Aditya, who hates Mohan, introduces Manoj as Aditya, and they get married. Mohan topples from a cliff, and Megha takes him to Mumbai to find his real mother. He lives as Vasu Rajvardhan, killed by his step-mother, Aai. Aditya apologizes and reunites Megha and Mohan, living happily ever after.

Episode 1
Megha seeks justice for her dead husband, Amar. Meanwhile, it is Aditya's birthday, so Navika and Megha gift him a cricket bat. Later, when Navika prays for the well-being of her mother, Megha sees Mohan for the first time.

Mohan and Megha meet in an unpleasant situation at the temple where she stops him from chasing a girl. Later, Megha is surprised to meet Prerna. Meanwhile, Navika gets warned by the Principal for her misbehaviour at school.

Megha and Vedkant go to the court and submit their evidences against Deenanath. Despite being humiliated by a relative of the victim, Megha chooses to stand for Amar and fight for justice. She puts forth her plea before the judge.
Episode 4
Renu asks her new neighbour Mohan about his wife, but she leaves him alone after his response is not too friendly. Later, Mohan helps Navika post an advert for her mother's marriage in the newspaper.
Episode 5
Mohan steps on a wrapper and shouts at Addu. However, Addu tells him that he threw his wrapper in the trash can. Later, Mohan continues to taunt him regarding his mother and father. This disheartens Addu as his father is deceased.

Megha blames and criticizes Mohan for posting a marriage ad in the newspaper. Later, Vedkant asks Megha's opinion about remarriage and she promises she will never get married. Meanwhile, Mohan consoles Navika

Megha blames herself for hurting others. But, Bela consoles her and says she is proud of her. Mohan feels guilty for his deeds and decides to apologize, but is in dilemma. Meanwhile, Megha is also restless.

Rastogi tries to convince Megha and her family to accept his wedding proposal, but they refuse. Mohan tries to find out about Deenanath's fraud case details from Koel. Meanwhile, Megha and her neighbours suspect Mohan's integrity.

Rastogi threatens Megha and misbehaves with her. Meanwhile, Navika and Mohan team up to impress Megha. Megha slaps Navika, and warns her to stay away from Mohan. Later, Navika is sad and misses her dad.

Sanjay's boss insults him in front of the client and his office colleagues. Later, Megha goes to Navika's school, as she did not come home. She gets more tense when she finds that Navika did not even attend school.
Episode 12
Megha panics when she is does to find Navika in the school and shouts at the teacher. Then she informs everyone about Navika. Later, everyone goes in search of Navika. Megha tries to enquire Mohan about Navika.
Episode 13
Mohan and Megha visit the police station to lodge a missing complaint. They also go in search of Navika. Meanwhile, Sanjay blames his father for the differences between him and his brother.
Episode 14
Mohan and Meghna search for Nanhi at the picnic spot and a little later, Mohan succeeds in tracking her. Afterwards, Mohan feels guilty about leaving Meghna and Nanhi to fend for themselves alone at night.
Episode 15
The family celebrates and have fun with each other on Sankranti. Mohan wants to apologize to Megha while Megha wishes to thank him for the kite he bought Navika. Both of them are very nervous as they speak to each other.
Episode 16
Mohan wins against Tanmay in the kite flying competition. Vedkant then announces the Megha and Mohan will face off to win the competition. Meanwhile, Rastogi takes his revenge on Sanjay and makes his life hell in the office.
Episode 17
Megha wins the kite flying competition against Mohan and retains the family tradition. Rastogi puts Sanjay's job at stake in return for Megha's apology. Saroj and Renu argue with Megha and convince her to apologize to Rastogi, but Megha refuses.
Episode 18
Koel gives evidences against Dinanath to Mohan and he assures her that it will get published in his newspaper. Meanwhile, Megha struggles hard to overturn the financial crisis in her house and reluctantly, agrees to ask for forgiveness.
Episode 19
Sanjay and Renu urge Megha to seek an apology from Mr. Rastogi. Jiji advises Renu and Sanjay to stop Megha from meeting Rastogi. Meanwhile, Renu taunts Jiji which disturbs her. Later, Mohan's bike is stolen by Vyas's grandson.
Episode 20
The Vyas family propels Megha to apologize to Rastogi so that Sanjay gets his job back. Rastogi waits for Megha in the coffee shop, but she reaches the cafe very late. Rastogi insults her and speaks ill about her husband for which she slaps him.
