In the story, Shiv dies in an accident, leaving Sharanya in a coma with no memory of the past few years. She reluctantly agrees to marry Vyom Bedi to save his life, angering Shiv's spirit. Vyom's father Rajan Bedi kills Sharanya's father, and Sharanya goes to Kapali Hills to protect him. She discovers Shiv's dead body and recalls her past, including how Vyom was obsessed with her and killed Shiv to marry Sharanya. Sharanya collects evidence against Vyom, and he kills the sadhvi and Vidyut who discovered his lies. Vyom blackmails Odhni to help him get rid of Shiv's spirit, and manipulates Shiv's mother Suvarna to get Sharanya to perform Shiv's last rites and burn all his belongings. Vyom kills himself instead. 25 years later, Sharanya and Akash get engaged, and Suvarna reveals that Radhika is Sharanya's reincarnation. Akash is revealed to be Vyom, and Shivani is killed by Freddy and Vyom. Radhika and Krish continue searching for Shivani, but Radhika faints when confronted by Freddy.
